What does the tuition investment include?  Your tuition investment includes the teacher training sessions (including guest teacher workshops) for Eka Loka Yoga at the training location, 2-hour master yoga classes for each session weekend, required books and materials, and the teacher training manuals (YTT and Anatomy).  It does not include classes at other studios, any additional classes you wish to take, and recommended books/electronic downloads.

 

A $500 non-refundable deposit is due with your application and will be applied to your tuition upon acceptance into the program.  To receive the $250 early-bird registration discount, your application must be marked by 11:59 p.m. on May 1, 2017.  Any balance outstanding will be billed to you and must be paid in full by 11:59 p.m. on May 15, 2017 to receive the additional $250 discount.  Tuition must be paid in full prior to the start of the first day of training, June 2 at 6 p.m.  If you are not able to meet this requirement, please select that you will need a payment plan contract.  Payment plans are available for 3 months (June-August 2017) and are subject to a 5% interest fee.  Please be advised that payment in full is not a guarantee of certification and must be received in full prior to any eligible certifications presented.

Participation Agreement and Refund Policy:

Per your electronically signed Participation Agreement on the application, you agree to the following terms:

 

I understand that if I am paid in full and fulfill all the requirements of the Eka Loka Yoga Teacher Training, including in-class hours, homework, quizzes, and showing proficiency in the final practicum, I will receive a certificate of completion, which can be submitted to the Yoga Alliance or a prospective employer as evidence that I have completed a 200-hour Teacher Training program.  Paying for the program and completing the hours alone does not mean I will pass the program.  I understand Eka Loka Yoga reserves the right to ask me to leave the program if I am found plagiarizing, if my behavior is disruptive, inappropriate, negatively impacting other students’ learning, unethical or violates the Yoga Alliance ethical guidelines. Under such circumstances, I understand I will not be refunded my tuition.  I understand that Eka Loka Yoga reserves the right at any time to ask me to leave the training if it appears that my health or physical practice are not at the level to fully participate in the training.  Under such circumstances, I understand it is at the discretion of the Program Director to give a pro-rated refund based on the amount of time I have attended the training.  I understand that if I miss over 23 hours and do not make up these hours sufficiently as required and directed by the program, I will receive a non-passing status and will be asked to leave the training.  Under such circumstances, I understand I will be given the opportunity to retake the program at a discounted rate, subject to availability, or forfeit my tuition, which will be legally binding to repay if under a payment plan, regardless of attending status.  I understand that if I am habitually tardy I will not receive credit for the days I am tardy.  If I am 15 minutes late more than twice, the third time I will be asked to leave and will be required to make up the day according to the make-up policy.  If I leave 15 minutes early more than twice, the third time I will be asked to leave and required to make up the day according to the make-up policy.  I understand that if I cancel 14 days prior to the start of the training, my deposit may be transferred toward a future Yoga Teacher Training and I will be refunded my remaining balance.  If I cancel within 14 days before the start of the training, I will forfeit my $500 deposit but my remaining balance will be refunded.  Once the program begins, tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.  I understand that all Eka Loka Yoga Teacher Training materials are under copyright protection and cannot be reproduced by me without the permission of the author. Failure to comply may result in legal action.

 

Monthly payment plans will be subject to contract terms.  Special circumstance situations brought to the Program Director's attention in a timely manner may be considered for refund at the Program Director's discretion.  Payment to the program does not guarantee receipt of certificate.  No certificates will be issued until payment for tuition owed has been fully satisfied.  We thank you for your understanding.
