Thank you for your interest in the Eka Loka Yoga Multidisciplinary 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification Program. We rely on information provided in this application to make informed decisions about your capacity to fully participate in and benefit from all aspects of our program. Please answer the questions honestly and completely.

 

In order to process your application and reserve your spot, we require a non-refundable deposit of $500. Once we receive your application and deposit, we will be in touch via email about our admissions decision. If you are accepted into the program, your deposit amount will be applied to your tuition. Should we decide not to accept your application at this time, you will be refunded your deposit amount, less a $50 application administration fee.

 

To be accepted to our training program here are some of the requirements: 

 

• You must be at least 18 years of age.

• You must demonstrate English-language competency.

• You must demonstrate medical and mental-health readiness.

• Applicants may be denied if it is determined that his/her participation would in any way jeopardize a safe and cohesive learning environment.

• Eka Loka Yoga may request additional documentation and/or clinical evaluations to evaluate medical and/or mental-health preparedness.

• 200-hour requirements:

  • Practicing yoga for at least one year and have had a regular yoga practice for at least six months. It is vital that this practice involve ongoing physical yoga classes as opposed to studying only with books, videos, or in workshops.

 

Acceptance and Yoga Alliance Registration

 

• We are accepting students on a rolling basis. If you have been accepted to our program, we’ll let you know within two weeks of your application submission. We advise contacting us if you do not hear back within two weeks of submission to confirm your acceptance.

• At the end of the Eka Loka Yoga Teacher Training, you will have completed 200 hours of training. Our registration with Yoga Alliance is currently pending. We don’t foresee any problems with our application being approved. If you choose, after graduation you may register with Yoga Alliance, the national voluntary registry for yoga teachers.
